Whistle Post is a family owned vineyard, we are welcoming and relaxing and here to help make your day as easy and memorable as possible. Located in the Coonawarra wine region, two minutes drive to the town centre of Penola, Whistle Post offers close proximity to local accommodation.
The venue is nestled among the vineyards, as you arrive you are met with a sweeping driveway opening up on to the vineyard lawn. Whistle Post Estate has venue hire for the vineyard lawn, Cellar Door, Barrel Hall and use of the vineyard surrounds for photo opportunities.

Cellar Door
Guests can relax inside modern bright surroundings, with large windows to take in the vineyard views. Opening up onto the outdoor decking and vineyard lawn, the Cellar Door is a great location for arrival drinks and canapés.
Barrel Hall
The newest addition to Whistle Post Estate is the Barrel Hall. Inside the hall you can configure a traditional cocktail or sit-down ceremony and reception amongst the wine barrels. The Barrel Hall is a large space catering for up to 160 seated guests.
Vineyard Lawn
The expansive vineyard lawn overlooks the vines, providing a perfect backdrop for your celebration and ceremony. Large native trees and golden elm adorn the lawn and its flat surface is perfect for cocktail hour and lawn games.
